“The Soul Trembles” showcases Chiharu Shiota’s work over the past 25 years in large-scale installation, sculpture, video performance, photography, and drawing.

Shiota is well known worldwide for her evocative installations made of many tiny threads and her artworks that convey the intangible: memories, worry, dreams, and quiet. The biggest solo show of Chiharu Shiota’s work to date, “Chiharu Shiota: The Soul Trembles,” was organised by Mami Kataoka, Curator and Deputy Director at the Mori Art Museum, Tokyo.
