Lord Mayor’s Christmas Carols Brisbane
Yes – Brisbane Christmas Carols is thankfully going ahead this year featuring a variety of renowned Australian singers and entertainers live on the big stage performing traditional Christmas carols old and new.
Simply register your free tickets and head to Riverstage in the Brisbane City Botanic Gardens on December 5, where family-friendly carolling will take place from 4pm to 9pm.
Christmas Eco Living Festival
At the Brisbane Showgrounds, shop for gifts and spoil your taste buds at the Eco Living Festival Christmas Market, offering a spread of eco-friendly stallholders selling all things natural, organic, sustainable and renewable.
Pick up bargain homewares, decorations and gifts, taste incredible vegan food and enjoy free live entertainment, workshops and more. Eco Living Festival Brisbane comes for one whole weekend on December 5 and December 6.
A Christmas Carol QPAC
An award-winning annual production at the iconic Queensland Performing Arts Centre – relive the greatest Christmas tale ever told in shake & stir theatre co’s A Christmas Carol, loyally adapted for stage with lavish costumes, music, video design and artificial snow!
This unmissable event is suitable for kids (recommended for ages 8 and above), running for nine days in the QPAC Lyric Theatre from December 16 to December 24.
Spirit of Christmas 2020 QPAC
Spirit of Christmas is returning to QPAC this December to raise Christmas spirit with traditional yuletide songs and carols performed by none other than the renowned Queensland Symphony Orchestra.
Join theatre stars Amy Lehpamer, Josh Piterman and other special guests in this 1-hour festive orchestral concert in QPAC’s grand Concert Hall on December 18 and December 19.
Brisbane Christmas Tree Spectacular
Sponsored by ABC Radio Brisbane, Christmas Tree Spectacular is a free outdoor Christmas entertainment series at South Bank Piazza – the home of Brisbane’s towering 22-metre Christmas tree.
For six nights before Christmas Eve, head to South Bank to experience Brisbane’s Christmas spirit in all its cheer, featuring live carols, dancing, circus acts and more. Entry is free (registration required, available on the night), taking place from December 18 to December 23.
